We walked to a nearby beach to watch the sunset on New Year’s Eve. I did a bit of fishing and hooked some small jacks – my last fish of 2024.
A few days later we returned for another sunset and I caught more of the same – my first fish of 2025. Can you tell which one was last and which one was first?
The best fish I caught in 2024 was my first fish, a nice big eye jack at sunrise on New Year’s morning. I don’t know for sure what my last fish of 2025 will look like, but I suspect it will be much bigger, and probably more orange.
